Ba Kyi (1912-2000), Neo-Traditional painter. Studied under Ba Zaw and apprenticed with Ba Nyan four years. Studied at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, 1949, and Penn Academy of Fine Arts and U of Penn School of Fine Arts, 1958-59. Oeuvre has strong lateral content, i.e., both Western and Traditional works. Renowned for his murals at Mingaladon Airport (Rangoon). MNM, YUCL, TM, Collection of King of Thailand, Sukarno Collection, Tropical Museum (Amsterdam) and at Bodh Gaya.
