Ba Zaw

Ba Zaw (ARCA) (1891-1942), major painter in the Western style. Studied under Ba Ohn and Jones at BAC , and some study with Chone. Influenced by J.J Hilder. Royal College of Art, London , three years. Painted transparent watercolor in the plein air British Watercolor School style. Founder of the Mandalay School. Few works have survived .  (ARCA is a British art degree from the Royal College of Art).
