Myat Kyaw

Born - 1918 ~ 1977

Myat Kyaw (1918- 1977) was painter, writer. Studied under Ba Nyan, Ngwe Gaing. Aggressively involved in Independence movement and military affairs WWII. One of founders of Burma Artist’s Union, 1946. Traveled to USSR, 1964 and Germany, 1969, for art studies.
